Same general principle- similar name.
in this case, his conclusions were turned instead of his old lady.
What Lott's detractors fail to understand is that his findings could be
changed by a factor of ten and still be overwhelming evidence of the
failures of gun control and the benefits of firearms proficiency.

Which means nothing.

Intellectual honesty counts.

The higher the emotional content, the more it counts.

Give it up, and you might as well move to California.

They are talkin'bout out-lawing swimming pools in Tucson AZ.
Not because they kill more kids than guns, but because of the
water situation. Got to have enough to water the golf courses.

I don't watch the news anymore, my step-father told me about it.

Yeah and that water could be treated instead.

I'm not against (private) golf courses.

I'm against people not knowing swimming pools are more dangerous
to children than guns, yet they want to ban guns because they are
dangerous to children.

He saved my life with that advise. :)
Brian Lamb's C-Span :) was driving me crazy and raising my blood
pressure. :/

Inside a public school are new bureaucrats being made...
what sort of future is that?

The USSR was a country where everyone was a bureaucrat.
How'd that turn out? ;)

Go for it if you want, but leave me out of it. ;)
Non-smoker, non-illegal drug taker and for the most part a

Just curious since I live in that area and had not heard anything like
that.

It is partially. At least the bigger chunks are taken out. ;)

Nor am I. I think it is a good capitalistic enterprize.

There are a lot of ignorant folks out there who simply deal with issues
emotionally not factually.

Did he give you any advice on how to handle stress or did he just tell
you to stop watching C-SPAN?

Two points:

1. Public schools have turned out some amazing people as have private
ones.

2. Just where did I say "public" in that definition above.

I think you need to check some facts. Most of the USSR was peasants not
burueacrats.

I quit smoking almost thirty years ago, don't use illegal drugs, although
I am for the legalization of MJ and don't drink much although I do enjoy
wine at night and the occasional beer.

No more so than most of us.
