Default Scuba diving on Georgia Coast

Was wondering if there is decent diving around Savannah, Georgia or
anywhere along the Georgia coast near an airport.

My friends have been all over the world, but I haven't heard them stopping by Georgia to dive. I don't think there are many dive spots in that area if ever. Maybe you can check the ruins there of a ship, in Savannah. The so called Liberty Ship. The ship now sits in 95 feet of water on the flat sea floor. The ship is void of her superstructure and has a 15 foot profile. This spot is about 30 miles ESE from Pensacola Pass. I just don't have any idea regarding their marine life.
