Default Advice on redsea diving in march?

Hi.

I'm looking to spend 7 days out in the res sea sometime in March, but not
sure whether to do a liveaboard or just go for day dives?

Ideally I'd like to do a liveaboard, but I'm on a tight budget of only about
£500 for the whole holiday. Are there any liveaboards for this sort of price
including flights?

I'm also travelling by myself so if I decide to base myself on land are
there any places that offer backpacker style cheap accomadation?

Basically I'm just after the cheapest diving holiday possible, but could be
tempted to spend a bit more for a good liveaboard, any ideas?

Thansk, Luke

I'm not sure how prices in March compare to December, but we just spend a
week on a liveaboard from Hurghada from Dive Channel, cost £530 I think, all
inclusive, plus a bit on top for insurance and tip, but the whole holiday
including absolutely everything I spent was less than £600. Very well worth
it, I think so much easier than loading up a boat every day, travelling
around a lot more, and of course you'll be able to get more dives in on a
liveaboard.
