In late 2002, I believe, we spoke something about diving.
IIRC, we both enjoy the activity.

Spent last week in the US Virgin Islands - St Thomas.
Blue Island Divers impressed me - even though they had one person on the
boat (me) on Friday (week prior to Thanksgiving), we still went out.
Now, the boat ride wasn't very long, but the sites were nice. Second day we
had 8 folks. Water temp was 83 or so, vis 50 to 70 ft.
got some nice pics and video (still being edited).

Lucky bugger!

I was in Dahab first half of October. The diving wasn't as good as I'm used
to in the Red Sea, but the trip (a short liveaboard) to the Thistlegorm and
Ras Mohammed made up for it.

I'm planning to go to Krk (no, no typo) in Croatia with the club in May and
the family holiday for next summer will probably be in Cuba (needless to
say that my dive gear is going along...).
And it looks like in September I'll finally go to Scapa Flow (don't know
anymore how many times I've tried to get that one organized).

Thanks - had to give a paper at a conference, and went a bit early so that I
could test the waters.
Presentation went well. Fortualtely there were only 10 folks when I
presented.
But it counts as one of two required publications required for the degree.

From Fiona's trip reports, it sounds like a really nice area.

I'll certainly try. Can't imagine a better guide.
