Default Dive report - Rhodes

Just got back from a week on Rhodes and did a couple of days diving.
Summary: Would have been very nice if the Greek had not eaten everything
in the sea bigger than 5 inches!

The sites I went to were very nice, gentle drop offs and walls right
down to a sandy bottom at 32m, some swim throughs and caves, visibity up
to 30m, water temp good enough to wear a 2.5mm shorty right down to 32m
and stay in the water for an hour. Very little current.

However, the whole thing is ruined by the completely depleted sea-life,
vary little around and nothing over about 5" left.

Also helps if you are a smoker, as everyone (and I do mean everyone)
staffing the dive boat chain smoked the entire day.

Keep an eye on Greece/Rhodes tho, as they have just relaxed the 'where
you can dive' regulations, and the dive boats may be able to chose areas
less infested with tourists and hopefully better sites.
Don't bank on it tho, as the boat I was on had 30 discover scuba and
snorkellers and only 4 certified divers, so they are going to go to the
nearest cove if they can.
