Why dive from a land-based operation when there is a liveaboard?
The Aggressor has Utila as one of its new locations:

http://www.aggressor.com/capt_log.php?log_id=713

Bay Islands diving generally sucks. But this one, with the seamounts,
whale sharks and hammerheads seems like one worth trying.

Why dive from a land-based operation when there is a liveabord?
Because not everyone can afford it! Liveabords are very expensive and
most people who
go to Utila are looking for a budget diving experience.

Default Whale Shark Diving in Utila Honduras

In case anyone is considering heading out to Utila in Honduras to do
some Whale Shark diving I can thoroughly recommend it and that's not
just for the Whale Sharks. Great vibe, off the beaten track and a
totally recharging experience all round!

If you want to see a bit of what I'm on about, check out:
www.myspace.com/shurford

I dived with Deep Blue Divers (www.deepblueutila.com)
and stayed at Colibri Hill resort (www.colibri-resort.com)

both thoroughly recommended and it certainly didn't break the bank...

One word of advice though - bring your sand-fly repelant and be
prepared to use it ;o)
