| With the mass of postings on diving in HK that just seemed to appear, I'd thought I'd join in. Will be heading off to HK for a wedding in a tenday. Would like to spend a day or two diving. Since I won't be there long (29th Oct - 8th Nov) is anyone in a position or organise anything or make it a little easier to get myself onto some dives? Lived there for a while, so know the area and speak the lingo. Thanks, S.C. |

| You know HK is no longer a "Fragrant Harbour"! Vis vary from 3-8m. If you really want to dive, I recommend the following: http://www.scdc.org.hk/ (a BSAC dive club) http://www.bunnsdivers.com/ http://www.prodive.com.hk/pd/main.htm These two have good boats and organized day or weekend trips. If you have 4 days, try to go to Philippines instead of diving in HK: http://www.sunnseaholidays.com/divelocation.asp?id=ph Do a quick trip to Puerta Galera via Manila: http://www.southseadivers.com/packages.html http://www.atlantishotel.com http://www.asiadivers.com/ "Rage" <mr.bunny@bigfoot.com#spamoff> wrote in message news:<bmq2km$d6l$1@titan.btinternet.com>... > With the mass of postings on diving in HK that just seemed to appear, I'd > thought I'd join in. > > Will be heading off to HK for a wedding in a tenday. | I don't think that Hongkong is a good spot for diving. It doesn't really have a reputation for such. They are really popular for shopping and technology and the new disneyland. ANd I think it is best to travel Hongkong on land. |
