I got as far as "jumped over the fence" when Carol said "and a gator
got him".

Crooks are so predictable.

Yeah. Ocean Navigator has about 4 reports a year of "yachtsmen"
(those of us who sail for fun) taking a swim and being taken.

When we were in Oz, we went by a smallish wildlife park outside Sydney
(Featherstone's or something like that). They had a roughly 6 metre
crock. If I should fall in the water, I WILL BECOME JESUS AND WALK TO
LAND.

Actually, I waited until he was about 300 yards away and then lightly
peppered him with birdshot.

From the hip.
