AFAIK, only the Andaman and Nicobar islands are interesting for
diving. Because of environmental and political concerns, the
government limits access to these islands, though. Have a look at
http://www.netaxs.com/~vkalia/andaman.html, a trip report by Vandit
Kalia, a rec.scuba regular.

Fortuitous - logged in to the NG after 2 years almost, and found this :)

For anyone who cares - part of the reason I went AWOL was a year-long
sabbatical, 5 months of which were spent in the Andamans. I fell in
love with the Andamans so much that I'm quitting my corporate job and
opening up a dive shop in the Andamans, starting this Dec, if all goes
well (*crossing fingers*).

All NG regulars are invited... if anyone wants to come at the tail of the
season, we can go exploring for new dive spots in the more remote parts of
the islands.

In the meantime, what did I miss? Did we establish the superiority of
Team Stroke over DIR (or vice-versa?) :)

Ahhh, he returns, stirring the pot as he goes.

That's our Man.

Since DIR is about to become a Registered Trademark, and Kane and the
Kool-Aid drinkers have admitted that it is nothing more
or less than a tag line, We are reverting to the use of the term Hogarthian,
or simply not using the acronym.

How is ya?
