Default Diving in southern India?

I'll be in southern India, in and around Trivandrum and Kanyakumari, in
late July and early August. Is there any decent diving in that area? If
so, can someone recommend a particular operator to dive with? Thanks.

No diving in that area.

>From Trivandrum, you can try going to Lakshadweep if you can - there is

some diving there. Check out Lacadives and Goa Divers. However, I
am not sure if they'll be open at that time.

There is also diving in the Andamans, but you'll have to fly from
Chennai and then take a boat for that. Check www.diveindia.com - a
dive center run by a very intelligent, very good looking and of course
very well hung fellow... ahem.

Late July/Early August also tends to be monsoons, so if you are only
going for a couple of days, conditions may not be perfect. Here in the
Andamans, you should still be able to dive but we may be limited in
which dive sites we can visit. A lot depends on the actual weather at
that time - even during monsoons, there are days of calm and days of
storm. Calm days, whether rainy or no, are fine for diving - stormy
day mean we only visit sites that are close by, which rules out our
more spectacular sites.

Very intelligent, very good looking and of course very well hung,
Vandit
