Default Secure luggage storing in Bangkok?

Hi,

Anyone know of a place in Bangkok with a secure service to store a
medium-sized duffle bag for about 6 weeks?

I plan to do backpack/budget travel in Cambodia, Thailand, Laos in
Feb/March, ending my trip with several days of scuba diving. I'd like
to store my dive gear upon arrival in Bangkok and pick it up when I
head south for the diving.

thanks,
Kate

Oh, I almost forgot, I wouldn't recommend agreeing to a hard set of
dates for the retrieval of your kit, just in case your schedule gets
thrown off uncontrollably.

Most hotels have a luggage room where they'll happily store it. I wouldn't
leave anything very valuable - get it into a safe!!

There are baggage storage facilities inside the airport at Bangkok for
90 Baht a day.

There is very secure storage at the airport and at the adjacent Amari Hotel
(a footbridge gets you from one to the other). Your question is a nice
coincidence though...I leave for Thailand this evening and will do an
overnight in Bangkok (I'm staying at the Amari again) before flying on to
Phuket the Friday morning. I only have enough time to go there for a 10 day
Ocean Rover trip and a couple days of touring. Your six weeks of traveling
and touring sure sounds nice. Good luck and safe traveling.

Most Guesthouses in the Khao San Road offer a storage service for 10 Baht
day. But better don't leave valuables there.
