Default Need help - 8 weeks in North Sulawesi with lots of photos.

Just came back from a 8 week diving trip form all over North Sulawesi.
I really need some help identifying some of the critters I have
photographed. I took about 800 pictures this summer but I have only
put up about 50 of them for now on my site http://www.eriksworld.org

I am not sure if the pictures I got are a Wonderpus or a Mimic
octopus.
If I got a picture of a Lacy or Weedy Scorpionfish.
Is that a Ambon Scorpionfish I am calling "Ambon" etc.

Would love to hear from you.

It's a fish.

Is it my imagination, or do Buffalo Wings taste like chicken?

I think your Ghost Pipe Fish are "Harlequins", you have the Ghost Pipe
Fish in the Mabul video, just before the clip of the Pigmy Sea Horse

I'm sure i have photo's of those very same fish, just come back myself (10
days ago) from staying on WWW.seaventures.com (the Rig just off Mabul) did
you dive under there.....?

The videos are from 2001 but yeah I did dive a lot on Mabul. The
critter diving was really good there. But Lembeh is way better =) Did
you see "Elvis" the HUGE Morray on the Rig? Ghost pipefish tend to
hang around the same area....1m sq area. The guides know where they
are and just show em to you. I have a bunch of video from Sangalaki of
Mantas. Ill try to post them soon!

All the best Erik Adler

Well, the octopus is a mimic rather than wonderpus, the scorpion fish
is Rhinopias Frondosa not Rhinopias Apanes, and the Scropion fish is
the Ambon or "Bugs Bunny".

Steve
