Early to bed. Ed Robinson's boats leave late, compared to the really
early risers like Mike Severns and B&B Scuba, but they still require
one to be at the dock at 6:30 a.m. and it's a 45 minute drive (even the
way I drive) from Ka'anapali. Doesn't leave much time for calling,
especially since Westin forbids smoking on their lanais and there's no
minibar. Besides, you never answer the phone nowadays anyway, now that
you have a "real" job. I'll try to call you from the North Sea if it's
not raining too hard. Leaving in 9 days doesn't give me much time to
repack, let alone work, which is why I'm also not calling you in the
interim. Yet.

So how was the mosquito island? Our amigos?

Default Diving around Bangka - North Sulawesi

Hello everybody,

I just went diving around Bangka Island in North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
This is truly one of the best dive locations I have ever seen!
Personally I think this is even better then the Great Barrier Reef, or
the reefs around the bay islands in Honduras.

I stayed at a place called Mimpi Indah resort. This is a great place
with perfect service and very good diveguides!

Check out their website: www.MimpiIndah-resort.com

Do tell us more! How do you get there? How much did it cost? Where else
have you been diving?

Probably on the Great Barrier Reef and the reefs around the bay islands
in Honduras.

What I find really interesting is that the OP, posting from a throwaway
account, is named Owen. According to the website, the "resort" is
owned by Owen. Coincidence?
