Learning to Dive in Indonesia

I did my PADI OW course in Tioman Island off Malaysia. Quite cheap.
Kit in good condition. 3 students to the instructor.

But as stated elsewhere, looking to do it on the cheap isn't the most
sensible idea in the world.

How long do you have before you leave? You might well find that a BSAC
club would be able to train you more cheaply than any reputable PADI
school. If you've got time then tell us where you are and we'll
suggest some clubs in your area.

Just to add to some other comments. SCUBA requires the use of a Life
Support System which, if it (that "it" is a general it not entirely
related to that Life Support System) goes wrong, means that you can, at
best, hurt yourself significantly and, at worst, die.

It's not like buying a fridge. Fridges can't kill you, well, not very
often anyway and not, unlike SCUBA, every time you use it.

Support System which, if it (that "it" is a general it not entirely
related to that Life Support System) goes wrong, means that you can, at
best, hurt yourself significantly and, at worst, die.

It's not like buying a fridge. Fridges can't kill you, well, not very
often anyway and not, unlike SCUBA, every time you use it.
