Diving in Iran

My friend is travelling to Iran on occassion for business. She was planning to check out the diving possibilities in Iran on her trip (somewhere end of September comming - so buddies ???).
I know their is a diving facility in Kish Island (South of Iran) but never succeeded to have contact or received any reaction. They have some Padi instructor I think (qualified in Malaysia I think). Do not know anything about the conditions and equipment or regulations... but I'm very much interested to receive any kind of info.
