Dublin diving can be like that, equally it can be spectacular. Getting the
tides right is crutial. There are some great wreck dives in Dublim Bay,
including the GuideMeII. There is also lots of life to see. A good operator
is also very important, one who knows what he is at. Dublin Bay diving is
not for everyone but can be very rewarding. It is true that the west coast
offers better opportunities, but some of us have to make do with what we
have.

I second that completely. Good diving is possible but given the recent
weather we've had there'd be no point in Sharky lugging his gear over from
U.K. Even today we have a small craft warning from Met Eireann.. :(
