CEN - Fatevi quattro risate per il WE

Ho scritto a Seibicke Ruth dicendo che ero un subacqueo molto allarmato per
le statistiche pubblicate sul sito UNI e dal CEN, chiedendo quali fossero le
fonti dell'informazione.

Unfortunately there is no written source. There is no official statistic on
the number of diving accidents. I gathered my information via telephone
interviews. However I can assure you that diving is not a risk sport: The
risk for a single diver to have dive accident symptoms is only 1:40.000.

Beh C'è di peggio. Se qualcuno fosse interessato a sapere cosa dicono queste
norme per ora misteriose occorre aprire il portafoglio. Direi di rimanere
nell'ignoranza.

Mi stupisce il numero di sub inglesi...1.500.000 (dal documento) contro
i 300.000 italiani (Fonte SSI).

...sono d'accordo con te. Forse la nostra Miss ha semplicemente
estrapolato il rapporto fra incidenti ed immersioni 1/40000 sulle
ipotetiche 40.000.000 di immersioni annue che secondo Mr. Ellerby ci
sono in Europa (!!!!!) per arrivare ai 10.000 incidenti....Per quello che
riguarda i sub inglesi non saprei cosa dirti anche a me sembrano
tanti soprattutto in rapporto agli italiani ma non avendo altra fonte
d'informazione che la 1° indagine campionaria nazionale sull'Attività di
immersione sportiva con autorespiratore in Italia devo restare ai
260.000 che vengono contati.
