| Thinking of going back to Aqaba! Went there in the late 80's. Anyone got any info??? I understand you can fly direct UK-Aqaba or is that a flight via El Al to Eilat? Last time I was there there was a nice little dive business near the Saudi border run by a Brit couple. I stayed in the Alcazar hotel. Greatful for any new info. Eddie --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.703 / Virus Database: 459 - Release Date: 11/06/04 |

If you go to Eilat, Meduza dive center I highly recommend as their facilities are as good as anywhere I've seen. medeilat@netvision.net.il The diving there is mostly shore diving as there is a wall near the beach. If you dive in Israel you need to show proof of dive insurance and dive log showing a dive within the last 6 months (or you have to take refresher dive). Also open water cert is limited to 20m and advanced to 30m. From Eilat you can see Aquaba and the Saudi border. Also you're close to Taba in Eqypt. Adam |
