Yepp, Harry.

Have been in Kuredu and several other places in the "Lhaviyani Atoll".
Several divesites available in short distance from the island: See this
links:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&start...ing.htm&e=7620 ,
http://members.aol.com/kuredu/ultimate.html,
http://members.aol.com/kuredu/dsafari.html,
http://members.aol.com/kuredu/diveloc.html.

Can also recommend "Kanifinolhu" in the "North Male Atoll" and "Kuramathi"
just north of the "Ari Atoll".

If you use good old "www.google.com" as a seach engine and search for
"ISLANDNAME" + "diving" you'll get every detail you want about the places of
the planet you want to learn about! But remember that in 1997, the water
temp. did rice to ca 40 degrees C, = 10 degrees above normal. It did kill
much of the corals (they turned grey and dead), - but the fish amount did GO
UP as the fish got less algae competition from the corals. Now, some years
later the most of the corals have regained their "life" and colors. But
check out the local diving center,- they can tell you about the current
status on each island.
