We normally fly business class as well. Our next trip to Maldive will be upgraded to First Class paid for with our Emirates air miles. We do long haul specifically because children don't tend to go that far. We avoid hotels that do kid discounts. Maldives is a bad place for them because there is nothing for them to do. No kids club, no creche, no other kids to play with, no hotel down the road to visit. No road. We have seen kids in Maldives. They are normally bored. Dives are normally 20 - 30m deep, in a current. And I've had currents where my bubbles were being dragged down by the current. When I had bubbles that was. Pete S |

I did one dive where I was down at about 30m surrounded by the bubbles from the divers 20m above me. It made the dive "interesting".
