Has anyone been to Vilamendhu Resort in the Maldives?

We are probably going to stay at Vilamendhoo in November for a week of
diving. Has anyone been there in the past year or so and know the quality
of the snorkelling, diving and food? There are so many resorts and islands
in the Maldives it is hard to choose one...

Was there two years ago; friends were there this April. Very good resort,
good grub & lots of choice. Snorkelling good, biggish house reef with
several entry & exit points but coral badly smashed. However, masses of fish
of all types. Boat diving very varied from wild drifts to quite sedate
sites - you can choose what you want to do by selecting which of the three
dive boats you go on. Viz can be pretty iffy in November; also we had lots
of rain although that is not a problem for diving.
