Default Photos from Malta

Just got back from Malta - excellent trip this year.

This is the first time I have ver taken photos underwater.

Took over 1000 photos with my Sea and Sea Canon 10D outfit. 10% turned
out just right I think. Some require editing. Some have basic errors
which I can work on for next time. But on the whole I think not bad
for first attempt. The black and white shot inside HMS Maori (sorry no
subject titles on the piccies yet) took me 20 mins to create.

Try not to ge too bored. There are just over 100 piccies on my site.
Somewhere in there is the Blenheim Bomber.

See what you think.

Nice,

The shots of the Rozi and HMS Maori are really nice.

You've just joined the list of people I hate who can use an underwater
camera!.

Any chance of a Hi-res copy of the one of the Rozi with
the diver in the foreground?

Drop me a line off list if so.

Thanks

Dave A

Some very good photos in there. Perfect material for me to play around with
using my new toy - photoshop! :) Great work, well done!

Thanks.

Now all I need to do is sell some of them to make the camera and
housing pay for itself!

Great photos, better than mine taken in May on an MX10, lots of pics with
little fish in the corner. As an Open Water I only saw Cirkewwa, Anchor Bay
and HMS Maori as well as the jelly fish and fireworms. The Blenheim bomber
is one of the best shots I've seen, that's one of next years dives.

What camera were you using?

Thnaks.

There is no reason why on an Open Water ticket you couldn't have done
a couple of dives in Gozo, The Two Tugs in Malta (22m max but you
could stay at 18m). Ghar Lapsi, Comino Caves, Blue Grotto?

I've been playing with the Blenhiem in Photoshop today to improve
black and white contrast. The last photo of it with the diver hovering
in the background. I think I have improved it somewhat. It looks less
"washed" now.

I used a Canon EOS 10D with Canon 15mm fisheye and Canon 17-40L lenses
housed using a Sea and Sea D10 and Compact dome port. Dual Sea and Sea
YS-90 auto strobes.
