| that's a long trip to savor some rather mediocre diving -- I know, I've been there! Lots of scattered coral and more stone fish than I've ever seen in my life....you know, those deadly stone fish won't hardly move when you approach with a flipper. Scary -- to think of dropping down on one accidentially. Better check your buoyancy! Too bad that the ill-fated dodo bird is long gone from the island...chased and slaughtered to extenction by Europeans who arrived there when heading around the horn of Africa. And thus came the saying: "Dead as a do-do!" stephen.cousins@gmail.com wrote: > Please visit our beach villa holiday home website for a beautiful place > to stay in Mauritius > > http://www.mauritiusholidays.org > > Thank you |

| Hi All, I wanted to share with you all my first holiday experience in tropical Mauritius. This island has been described as paradise on earthwell guess what? It is indeed one of the most spectacular holiday destinations I have ever been. When I landed, I met the proprietor of Mauritius Orchid, a recently built villa situated at Trou Aux Biches in the north of the island. He made arrangements for the pick up from the airport and lay in front of us a 2-week agenda completely pack with action, exploration and excitement. Whether is the white sandy beaches or the beautiful sunset, this island is an emerald in the Indian Ocean. It is easy to lose yourself in its scenic beauty while on a vacation. Being multicultural, Mauritians will always greet you with their kindness and a big smile. Mauritius Orchid made arrangements for us to go to a Mauritian wedding. 7 curries served on leaves, warm welcoming people and a whole new perspective if the blend of cultures.this is the only place where you can feel yourself bonded with a whole new world. I thank all the kind hearted people who has made my holiday a complete relaxing and enjoying one. Whether you like an adventure, water sport or a honeymoon vacation, Mauritius Orchid has made our dream come true. Visit Mauritius Island today and let yourself be pampered. |
