Default Playa del Carmen - any snorkeling ?

My wife, 3-year old girl and I are going to Playacar (south end, 2 Km S of
PDC) for a week. The destination was chosen mainly for convenience, price,
family resort, beach and relaxation. Our last diving was in Fiji 3 years, 9
months ago (hence the 3-year old girl <g>). Should we bring our snorkeling
gear? Anything to see, other than sand? Currents, big waves? We're not
into packing the Scuba gear & going to Coz on the ferry.

Thanks, Don

Coco Beach on the north end of town. Straight out 5th. Very protected and
very shallow.

Take your regulator and ferry over to Coz if you haven't been before.

While it's a mistake to take your child to Mexico, I'm told that child
care services there are excellent.
