Default Cabo San Lucas - any diving??

My wife won a weekend trip to Cabo - so we're going soon - she's looking
forward to spending time at the spa... so I'm looking for things to do.

I've never heard of anyone going to Cabo for scuba diving. Hey, there's an
ocean, so there must be something to see, right? Any advice would be
helpful. Is it worth lugging down some gear, or does the diving stink? I've
been to many dive destinations, most notably 5 trips to Bonaire.

If you're "going soon" expect it to be real cold, especially if Bonaire's
the coldest you've dove. Low 60s would be my best guess. There is diving
in Cabo and more diving as you head up the east (Sea of Cortez) coast of the
peninsula.

I would not. Unless you can get to a place like the seamount. If
you go soon, plan on whale watching, kayak out to lovers beach and the
arch but blow off the diving.
