Default Cozumel

Going to Cozumel for the first time in early November. Any
recommendations for the "best dive spots".

Stay at the "Scuba Club". Just for divers and the place is well run and
knowlegeable. There is unlimited shore diving, a wreck right off of the
place, and great boat diving. They will take you to the best spots too.

I'd recommend the reefs - they're scattered all up and down the western
side of the island.

But the most exciting ones are on the North and East sides. :)

Not a bad one there, just some harder to do. I don't hink I have ever
had a bad dive there. Somedays the water is running a little different
and makes things a little more interesting.

Enjoy!

See http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdispl...ysprune=&f=208

for lots of discussion about Cozumel.

You may have to register at the "front door" (http://www.scubaboard.com)
before you can see the Coz forum.

Also, I have some stuff posted at
http://www.jumpstartmusic.com/cozumel/travelog
that might be of some use to you.

Enjoy your trip!

Wherever the boat takes you.

If the guide asks for input, say, "anywhere except Paradise Reef".

Don't worry about it; I've had some excellent dives on Paradise Reef.
Come to think of it, I've never had a bad dive on *any* reef around
Cozumel.
