The guys we dove with started the dive by having us swim into the strong current. So strong that going down the line upon entering pulled my mask away from my face. We burned a lot of air just starting the dive. I prefer Coz |

Oh, it was also the first time I'd ever heard a diver that had been to Coz (more than once) say that they'd never seen any turtles there. |

| I've had many dives in Coz and Cancun and I have never seen any turtles, or perhaps I should say "almost never" because maybe I just don't remember. I *do* remember that the most turtles I have ever seen on any dive was when I dove in Akumal, south of Playa del Carmen. So if the guys want so see lots of turtles, I would suggest Akumal. Maybe this other > diver's attention was focused on something else? Can't imagine what. The diver is quite experienced, so it's not a situation like a newbie, who often misses lots of stuff. |

When I dove Cozumel last May, I lost count of how many turtles we saw. There were plenty of them. Gordon in Austin |

It was my first time to Coz/ I thought it was classic Caribbean diving, much like T&C and the Caymans, both of which I've been to a few times. I had a great time. Dan |
