No, I don't think you can.

Bob-o-Ling, here's another choice you may have a problem wrapping a
crusero brain cell around... at certain times, some of us would prefer
to view our lowly world from a perspective other than a back seat of a
hack, like as apedestrian, or in my case, a cyclist. It's okay with me
if you prefer to spend your pesos hauling your silly ass up and down
short streets, so long it's okay for others to make other choices when
available - not everyone is in rush to get back to the "free" bar, as
meaningless as that term is. Truth is, many years ago in my pre-bicycle
days, I and and friend or two skated between La Ceiba and El Centro many
times and enjoyed every moment. That doesn't make me any better than
someone else, rather someone that has choices that you might find
unacceptable. For what it's worth, the supermarket name is Chedraui.
Oh, and one more thing, your little cheap ass smiley up there comes off
as condescendingly shallow and I find no surprise with that.

We walked from Guido's one night because we didn't know they only took
Amex and didn't have enough cash for the taxi.

He had to. Nobody in any other forum will have anything to do with him.

This is the only thread in FOUR days in rec.scuba.locations now,
and as I expected, the same gang is back. How predictable!

That certainly made PERFECT sense (other than hitch-hiking).
If I didn't have enough cash for a taxi, I would probably even
walk from the Diamond Resort or the lighthouse.

The gorilla, DING-DONG, Jer, and the rest of the non-diving
scuba gang will be IGNORED -- that would deprive them of
the only LIFE they have and enjoy -- getting clubbed by me. LOL

Now that's really funny. Hearing you talk about others without a life goes
way, way beyond the pot calling the kettle black.

BTW, you post gives lie to your words.

Hi Sy!

This is Armando Elizalde, director of www.scubacenote.com. I would need
to confirm, but I believe that the name of the marina infront of Fiesta
Americana Cozumel is "marina sport"... I live in Playa del Carmen, the
mainland. I am dedicated to do cavern diving tours in the famous and
unique "cenotes" a very popular diving tour you shouldn't miss! fresh
crystal clear water, that gives you the feeling of flying between the
stalactites, stalagmites and colums. Amazing light efects and
fossiliced coral. And sicnce it is in the jungle, there are no boats
involved... Save $: Don't buy it in the dive shops, go straight to the
source! the diveshops will send you to me any way! I Could pick u up at
the ferry, compare prices! My E-mail: scubacenote@hotmail.com
shallow and easy and safe, maximum 4 divers per full cavern diving
instructor; always within the natural light and never trhough narrow
tunels... check my web site above.
You need to have at least entry level certification eg. PADI open
water, or equivalent.
sincerely Armando.

In many ways.

Dingy's sooo addicted to life here, he posts when on vacation. I
promise you I won't be posting while I'm cave diving next weekend, or on
vacation with my VSO next month. Nor do I expect you to post from Rachel's.

Dingy cannot resist reading our posts, and if he really could ignore
them, he'd be censoring us (in his own words) therefore making him
self-repugnant.......of course, he's probably already that, which would
explain his endless attempts at displaying his imaginary superiority.

Curtis

Armando, Ben Bradlee had already identified correctly that the Dive
Shop is Juan Leca's Dive House. Been there for quite awhile. See
my post about Flash Gordon and Jorge there in 1993:

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.s...9ae62b5?hl=en&

I am sure you're anxious to sell you cenote diving to Syt or anyone
in Cozumel. But if Cyt is staying at the Fiasta Americana Hotel in
Cozumel, there is cenote diving within a VERY SHORT walking
distance from that hotel! So, why should he travel to Playa del
Carmen to do his cenote diving?

There are miles and miles of excellent cenotes in Cozumel whose
entrance is not far from there. Chuck Jones used to be the
authority and the most experienced cenote diver in Cozumel.
Now there are several shops IN Cozumel that have programs
to cenote dive in Cozumel, as well as on the mainland.
