Default Cozumel all-inclusive

We are looking at Allegro. Has anyone been there recently, or to any
other Coz all-inclusive?

(I understand lots of Coz fans don't like all-inclusives at Coz, but
we do. We have been there before, but it has been 12 years ago. We
stayed at Presidente then.)

Any comments appreciated.

Default Try this site------+

www.cozumel-hotels.net/index.htm They list 4 other all-inclusives. I
don't have any first hand info as I like to eat around in town. Who are you
going to dive with? Some times the on-site dive ops are not greatest.

Try this board. http://www.cozumel.travelnotes.cc/cgi-local/index.cgi
They will tell you all you want to know about Coz. I stayed at the Brisas on
a A&I and it was wonderful.

Would highly recommended it.

We are big AI fans simply because we go for 2 weeks and it just becomes
too expensive (and too much hassle) to eat out that much. Even though we
go AI we still go into town for a couple of meals.

Reef Club 3 years ago...no real complaints.
Iberostar 2 years ago...much nicer.
Going back to Iberostar this winter.
I believe it's generally agreed that the south end all-inclusives are
ranked by quality (food, rooms, etc.) and price as follows...Reef,
Allegro, Iberostar and Occidental Grand.

We stayed at Iberostar in 2001. pretty nice operation. You can get
excellent diving discounts if you
book with their corp. office in Madrid.
