How: Cancun to Cozumel on Dec 30

If my flight arrives in Cancun as scheduled at 8:10 pm on December 30,
can I still catch a ferry from Playa Del Carmen to Cozumel?

My original afternoon arrival time in Cancun has been changed to
arriving in Cancun at 8:10 pm. I found a ferry schedule online showing
the last ferry from Playa Del Carmen to Cozumel leaving Playa Del
Carmen at 11:00 pm. Is this schedule still correct and can I make the
11:00 pm ferry? It would be great if there were departure times from
Playa to Cozumel after 11:00 pm (perhaps later departures over the
holidays).

I welcome any suggestions/experiences for getting to Cozumel from the
Cancun airport.

Certainly an option is to stay over night at Playa Del Carmen. In that
case can anyone suggest a decent place to stay (for one person) in
Playa Del Carmen at a reasonable price for a night? I have spent very
little time walking the beach at Playa and do not know anything about
accommodations there. BTW, I can not speak Spanish.

On the ferry issue, why not call them directly and confirm the departure
times/dates?
