Nice place, rocky beach. Be sure to go to the Lighthouse across the way for
some drinks one evening.

You will probably have a hard time finding anyone here that knows much about
this. PV is not really a dive destination. My recommendation to you, is
that you get your classroom and pool work done at home. Get a referral to
take your open water portion for PV, if that is what you have your heart set
on.

Best of luck. Hope you have a wonderful time.

There's a few good restaurants near there, including the one at the hotel
(on the beach). But there are some awesome places in town, up on the hill
overlooking the town square area and the water. Pack your large wallet.

I've had lots of fun there a couple of times, but then again, I drink and
all my visits were pre-diving. ;^)

OK, that's too bad. So get certified and then plan your next trip to
Ambergris Caye, Belize.

Now that is a wonderful idea! I also want to have a look at that big
blue hole they have down there. It's a damn big reef, so I may have to
stay a while.

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. :)
