And hit Chedrau several times. Carol picked up a big block of achiote that we're still working on. -- dillon JAFO |

| Hi Sy! This is Armando Elizalde, director of www.scubacenote.com. I would need to confirm, but I believe that the name of the marina infront of Fiesta Americana Cozumel is "marina sport"... I live in Playa del Carmen, the mainland. I am dedicated to do cavern diving tours in the famous and unique "cenotes" a very popular diving tour you shouldn't miss! fresh crystal clear water, that gives you the feeling of flying between the stalactites, stalagmites and colums. Amazing light efects and fossiliced coral. And sicnce it is in the jungle, there are no boats involved... Save $: Don't buy it in the dive shops, go straight to the source! the diveshops will send you to me any way! I Could pick u up at the ferry, compare prices! My E-mail: scubacenote@hotmail.com shallow and easy and safe, maximum 4 divers per full cavern diving instructor; always within the natural light and never trhough narrow tunels... check my web site above. You need to have at least entry level certification eg. PADI open water, or equivalent. sincerely Armando. sytech@yahoo.com wrote: > Does anyone have the name of the Dive shop at the Fiesta Americana > Hotel in Cozumel? > > Also can anyone recommend SSI or NAUI Training Centers there? > > Thanks, > > Sy > > -- > Please post and reply to sytech@yahoo.com |

I was just wondering about a drive to your location. Have you met folks coming to you in this manner? That is: driving from Texas to Playa del Carmen. Wayne |

Chedraui is usually our second stop when we get to the island - have to stock up on groceries. We thought about driving one of our cars to the island and leaving it there in our driveway - we have a house www.casaquetzal.com - but it is a long drive from Dallas and there are some parts of Mexico that I would not feel real safe driving thru. Despite what the cruise directors are telling people: 1) there is no curfew on the island 2) the reefs are in pretty good shape 3) the wreck is bent but not broken 4) it is safe to get off the main street 5) the restaurants are safe |

That's what I was afraid of. Matamoros comes to mind with regard to places with unsavory characters. It's probably better to spring for the airfare. Thanks.
