Default Saba in February

We are considering a dive trip to Saba in early February. Saba Deep and
Cottage Club have good references in Undercurrent. Any advice from one who
has been there?

Dick

We stayed at the cottages. Great view and nice pool., walking distance
to several restaurants in Windwardside. We dove with
Sea Saba which is located in Windwardside. They picked us up at the
cottages everyday and drove to the boat/ Beautiful views and good diving.

Never stayed on Saba but have been there on day trips from St. Marteen. Always
dive with Sea Saba. Good operation and very accomodating.

Dick - We have been there 3 times - twice we stayed on land, and once
we sailed there.

We stayed at the cotteges both times we were on land and really liked
the place. They are clean, have great views, a nice pool, and are 2
minute walk to the center of the shops.

For diving we dove with Saba Reef divers who sold the business after a
tragic accident, and Dive Saba. Dive Saba is very well run, and what
we would consider a safely run operation.

Saba Deep appears to be known for more macho divers - we have not dove
with them, but did witness a dive group just after a dive and would
not have been comfortable diving with them based on the stories
(bragging) that we heard, coupled with stories from other dive
instructors we ahve met.

When we go back it will be with Dive Saba and the Cotteges.

The diving in Saba is great! Just don't expect a beach resort :>
