Habitat has probably the best house reef on the island. Grab a tank and go 24 hrs. a day. Nobody makes you do the boat dives. I like doing a couple of boat dives mixed with my shore dives. I don't like to work to hard for my dives anymore. I guess that's why my first choice is always liveaboard when possible. Curacao is one of my favorites in the Caribe and Habitat is great. |

| Definitely the Habitat. Best shore diving and closest to the best dive sites, like the mushroom forest. |

| I concur with NJDiver, definitely Habitat. Lions is closer to town but the diving is not even close to that at Habitat. Stayed at Habitat in 2004 and Lions in August 2005. When I go back it will be to Habitat. | The food is good, not great. The Habitat runs a shuttle into town on a regular basis. There are some really great restaurants in town. The bar is outside, open air and overlooking the water - very nice set up. |

And they seem to be willing to cancel flights for no particularly good reason. At least it's a one stop and not a connection. I've lost count of the number of people who have spent a night in Montego Bay because of squirrely connections. Who the hell ever heard of a half empty flight leaving early? > >-HW "Skip" Weldon > Columbia, SC -- dillon 666 permissions of the beast |
