| Gooday: I posted our trip report from 8 days in Curacao last month (July 2003). It was for Sunset Waters Castaway's Travel Nude week. There are a few photos also. They have another 2 weeks planned in September 2003 with the same (excellent) rates. Its HERE: http://www.angelfire.com/rings/spyderdive/ It was a great trip I'd highly recommend this location for both shore and boat diving. Its convienent to the Mushroom Forest as well as Puerto Marie and other poular sites. They also run the fast boat down to the big shipwreck near Wilmenstad. Also check out the link to my Dive-Buddy's photos, they are professional quality and he just took them all last month. Go deep! -T |

Yes it was all-inclusive, I'll make some edits to be sure I mention that. The cost, which I think was nominal compared to many other resorts, included all meals and drinks, booze also. Top-shelf boose wasn't included, but for serious divers I doubt that's a problem. I didn't have more than 2-3 beers on any given night except the last one when I wasn't diving the next day. All meals were included also, but some of the menu items had a surcharge, which again, I think was nominal. Our last night they served Lobster, and they had a $6 USD surcharge. No problem mon! The diving was extra, but for what we got I think the cost was very low. To find an all-inclusive for under $700 for 8 days?? Well, in all our years of travel we never did before Sunset Waters. Hry thanks for posting the rec.scuba BEST OF.... Very nice work! Cheers, Spyder |

Is that because serious divers only drink cheap booze, or because serious divers are independently wealthy enough to afford the good stuff without a care? |

Hahaha.. Good question! I meant that I didn't see the hardcore divers getting into any "hard stuff" during the trip- except on the last night. Sort of makes it feel like a "working vacation" but I knew I'd regret it the next day on the boat if I had a few shots! Regards, T |

No diver is what I'd call wealthy. Hell, even Jacques-Ives Cousteau was broke most of the time. |
