Those are some fine pics Dan ! Very nice ! You're a little too close to the cuda in the one Cayman shot for my comfort but I guess he didn't bite you. |

Yea. I understand that you need to be close to get a good shot. But cudas are not all that shy. People say they are. They aren't. I've been on scuba and seen some of them keep edging closer and closer to the point that most of our group were only 6 inches away and the cudas just stayed there. Regardless, your camera skills are to be admired because you can adapt to the animal you are shooting and that is what is matters. You should be very proud of your pics. They are excellent. It seems to me from this group, you and George Catcat and Greg Mossman are very good photographers here. Very good. |

Cut me a fucking break. It was a typo. Sheesh I've had my name butchered worse ways, but this was an original. More common is Catheart, and then there's Catchcart, Catchart and worse. Catcat. I might even adopt that, or, as Dan said Cat^2 or Cat2 or 2cat. There are three cats living in my house, so maybe it's appropriate or something. Note I said they live in my house, not that I have three cats. gc |

We're not going to see an article like this one about you, are we? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...071800801.html -- Above email address not valid. Look in NNTP headers for real contact info. |

Look in NNTP headers for real contact info. Not likely. The cats belong to my wife. They're all neutered. We have a zero-growth policy on animals in the house, so I should be safe with the current three cats, one dog, three hedgehogs, two rabbits, two guinea pigs and one chinchilla. I will be the first to move out if the animal population should start to grow again. My own preference is fish, and I find it's easier just to call the National Aquarium in Baltimore mine. gc |

I have fish too, freshwater, and I like them but the kids really like them, especially the 2 yr old. We tried a salt water tank and that was just too darn difficult. |
