| i thought as we passed catamaran ferry , i could see the passengers riding up and down, my wife who gets seasick very easily wouldn't want to be on that boat. That said, maybe rough was a slight exaggeration (-:)? Fred "Greg Mossman" <mossman@qnet.com> wrote in message news:f1ca693b-1ee5-4238-a07a-b77d7b58fcff@h11g2000prf.googlegroups.com... That said, maybe rough was a *slight exaggeration (-:)? 2-3 is a pretty mild swell for open ocean crossings. We consider ourselves lucky when it's that flat out here. And catamarans make it even easier on the seasick prone. The worst ferry I ever rode was the single-hull Victoria Express between Port Angeles, WA and Victoria, BC. Fine on the way there, but it was bouncing like crazy on the way back. Plus they poured me a rum and coke that was almost all rum and we had eaten some very greasy dim sum for lunch. At least the grease helped lubricate everything coming back up. |
