It sounds like you got to dive with murph and zoo, they're quite a pair; not at all like your typical Caribbean DM clones. A big 10-4 on the hard soled booties. Criminy jim, did you take the pony or not, and if so, how was the security experience? bullshark |

Most of our nitrox fills were around 30%, with no 36% available. |

Yeah, those guys were alright. > > A big 10-4 on the hard soled booties. > > Criminy jim, did you take the pony or not, and if so, how was the > security experience? Did not take the pony as it need a hydro - neither my LDS or I noticed on the last few fills. Did not really need it as all the dives were less than 102 fsw and I did limited wreck penetration. my dive buddy did take his 13 cf pony, but took off the valve and put it in checked baggage - he had no problems. Security? A joke as usual. The guards in Bonaire allowed people to pass into the gate area with bottles of water, juice, a beer, and whatever else was in their carry-ons. This was 09/09/06 - before TSA eased the rules to allow 3-oz containers. I myself was able to smuggle out an empty bottle and one light fixture I recovered from a wreck, and two cuban cigars - which also got thru US customs in Houston. |
