| Hello, spent there a weekend 2 years ago. There is the Fernsteinsee and the Samarangersee. Both with 10 -15m depth. You have to book a weekend in the Hotel below, as these lake are private. Minimum 50 logs are required and good / proper diving. Both lakes are cristall clear, if one contacts the bottom with fins, it's gone Samaranger has lots of trees in, like MIKADO and you can look from one side to the other. The Fernsteinsee has lots of trouts in (hundrets) and the bottom has a bit of vegetation. Had no dry suit at that time and temp is between 5°C and 10°C, but I enjoyed it! Hotel food is great and compensates for the energy you loose during diving. http://www.schloss-fernsteinsee.at/ Have a good time there Robert "Philip" <Philip.Keersebilck@tiscali.be> schrieb: Hi Who has dived in the Fernsteinsee in Austria?
