I dont have a scooter either. Played with several, but just didnt see the
big deal for the diving I do.

One of my favorite stories is one from a bud who was using his in bad vis
and took a whole Lions Mane in the face.

It was pretty funny after the swelling went down.

Actually, you can walk in Force Fins.

Every once in a while you can catch them off guard with a question such as: "I thought I had my computer selection narrowed down to an Aeries Atmos 2 or an Oceanic Versa Pro when I came across an interesting article that portrayed the Cochranes as so vastly superior that one wouldn't want to be saddled with one of the aforementioned (albeit considerably cheaper) brands. Is it the opinion of this esteemed ( you have to use that word or they are steamed) group that the Aeries or Oceanic would be perfectly adequate for a novice diver?", and the responses will be both thoughtful and useful. Guaranteed to be good if Chilly answers. Maybe she'll even answer this one.

But since there are as many posts complaining about irrelevancy as there are irrelevant posts, don't waste your time complaining. It's water off a diver's back.
