what, exactly is a "quier boy"?

My two closest guesses would be queer boy, which doesn't make any sense, and
choir boy, but that would be a hideous misspelling.

When you're looking for information, something called a "Search Engine"
is what you want to use. For example, a couple of people have heard of
one called "Google", and its probably a good place to start.

For example, search terms like "Usenet etiquette" and "Netiquette" turn
up the following useful webpages:

http://www.dtcc.edu/cs/rfc1855.html
http://www.html-faq.com/etiquette/
http://www.albion.com/netiquette/

However, the classic netiquette advice is from 'Emily Postnews':

http://www.faqs.org/faqs/usenet/emily-postnews/part1/
http://www.templetons.com/brad/emily.html

(BTW, in case you're humor-impared, this is a satire piece)

There's also a FAQ that I've been too lazy to take the time to give is
a major rewrite:

http://scifi.squawk.com/scuba.html

Finally, please be awaer none of us are in any way obligated to be at
your beck and call to answer any/all of your questions, nor are we in
any way obligated to assure that we're actually correct. In other
words, free advice to be worth what you paid for it, and may only
irregularly provided...

As boring as a sunset, pinky?

Don't ask, don't tell, remember? (That explains the self-loathing)

Not if you have to pick up the tab, you won't.

Besides, no one uses umbrellas in Washington State, so how the heck can I
drink?

Wendy's frosty dairy desert beats all other french fry toppings.

Ick! Who would ruin anything by putting Mayo on it?

Quite an apt comparison.

So, how does it feel to play the choir boy?

Cheers,

Froggy
