Default A romantic resort with good snorkling?

Is it possible? My head is spinning and I thought I'd come to the experts!
I've been out of the dive scene for a while but am an experienced free
diver. My gal is looking for the nice beach (with the dude carrying the
drink tray) but I will quickly bore of that and want to explore the
hopefully calm and clear water and nearby coral right offshore. Any ideas
on a carrib destiantions/resorts you'd recomend that have somewhat decent
snorkling scene right off the beach? I'm not talking schools of Sergent
Majors here...

Man any help is appreciated! Please don't make me have to go on a cruise.
yuck!

St. Lucia is one of the nicest places on earth. People are friendly and
warm, water is crystal.

Definitively Bali, Candi Dasa and Sanur area are plenty of nice
beaches, cool resort, some dive are unforgettable and Bali is one
of the most romantic island I've never seen.
