LOL!! No, I wasn't fired. I have that position on a contract basis because
I was asked to develop, run and teach the course due to my reputation in
industry. Every year, I get to chose whether to take it on or not. I very
much enjoy it, so I keep agreeing to do it again every winter semester.

Yes, we had that discussion. And read what you quoted here below. You may
call it compromising standards, but I call it going the extra mile for my
students. I really care about them and how well they do in the class. They
aren't even allowed to take it if they haven't already met certain
standards. Once they've met those standards then they have proven
themselves worthy to take my class but they still have to do the work and
pull in the marks or they don't pass. I consider it as much a personal
failure, as the students failure, if they don't make it through. Therefore,
I make a fair amount of effort (within reason) to *teach* them and *help*
them to *learn*. After all, that's what we are all there for.

Not at all. It is just one of the things that I chose to do.

LOL, you care Bob. You care. And way to go with the ignoring me anytime
you want. I knew that post would get ya. ahahahhahaha

Hope you are enjoying your holiday.

By the way, do all community colleges have undergrad studies?
