As "Chilly" says......you need to decide where your going to
stay.....Sipadan is out, but there is good snorkling to be had there if
your partner goes with you to dive there......
You would either stay on Mabul, there is a beach on Mabul so snorkling
would be ok there......and on Kapalai, the place is on stilts.....you
would get snorkling there also, good vis on kapalai, but also poor vis on
occasions....get your partner diving is my recomendation.....you could
always stay on my favourite place...."Seaventures" dive platform.....no
snorkling from there but......who cares, the diving underneath is the
best.....

I'll second that!! Especially around 4:30 pm when the bumphead parrots head
for the dropoff. Wow!! What a rush.

I'm not so sure about that, but maybe over at Sipadan Water Village (which
is actually located on Mabul) it would be OK. But I sure wouldn't try to
get a snorkeller too excited about it.

For anyone that does'nt know what a Bumphead looks like, there is a photo

For anyone that does'nt know what a Bumphead looks like, there is a photo
