You would either stay on Mabul, there is a beach on Mabul so snorkling would be ok there......and on Kapalai, the place is on stilts.....you would get snorkling there also, good vis on kapalai, but also poor vis on occasions....get your partner diving is my recomendation.....you could always stay on my favourite place...."Seaventures" dive platform.....no snorkling from there but......who cares, the diving underneath is the best..... www.seatreker.com Dave Morgan @ Work in the UK |

I'll second that!! Especially around 4:30 pm when the bumphead parrots head for the dropoff. Wow!! What a rush. > You would either stay on Mabul, there is a beach on Mabul so snorkling > would be ok there...... I'm not so sure about that, but maybe over at Sipadan Water Village (which is actually located on Mabul) it would be OK. But I sure wouldn't try to get a snorkeller too excited about it. >and on Kapalai, the place is on stilts.....you > would get snorkling there also, good vis on kapalai, but also poor vis on > occasions....get your partner diving is my recomendation.....you could > always stay on my favourite place...."Seaventures" dive platform.....no > snorkling from there but......who cares, the diving underneath is the > best..... > > www.seatreker.com > Dave Morgan @ Work in the UK |
