First, where do you plan to stay?

I have been to both places and would return to Sipidan before Palau. We saw
many more fish in Sipidan.

:^) Yes, I understood that.

First thing you need to understand is that you can no longer stay on
Sipadan.

Therefore, you are more likely going to be staying on Mabul, but perhaps
Kapalai?

It will be easier to answer your question about the snorkelling if you tell
us where you plan to stay and which resort.

I've dived both Palau and Sepidan....Palau is justly famous as the diving
destination with the greatest u/w vis in the world some 300 feet, or 100 meters
is the norm at Peleliu (sp?) which is a long steam out there.

On the other hand, Sepidan is often cloudy and I've been told this by countless
other divers who've been there at different times. It certainly was when I was
there. The dive people were blaming it on Mt. Pinatubu in the Philippines that
was erupting at the time..but I'm told that they always come forward with some
excuse or another.
