| I am thinking of going on a liveaboard out of Kavieng, Papua New Guineau next August. The two options seem seem to be the Paradise Sport with Mike Ball and the Febrina. I have dived previously with Mike Ball - the Spoilsport to the Coral Sea, any one been on the Febrina or heard anything to compare them? Thanks Rocky -- The Earth Is One Country and Mankind its Citizens (from the Baha'i writings) Surely The Global Superhighway is evidence of this? No.....but flew into Kavieng,,,,,,,,,tiny airport if you can call it that, runway in a field.......and an old tractor to pull the gear of the plane. The diving out of Kavieng was awesome, great walls, sea as flat as a sheet of glass.....30C+ water temp, it has the highest average all year round water temp.......as i say, the sea was flat but underneath the current was raging........great for watching Pilot Whales and Dolphins..... I had a "moment" on one dive when seperated from my buddy.........my body still pumps adrenalin I'm glad to say. Dave Morgan @ Work in the UK Take out the "goes diving" bit.... | Why did separation from your buddy cause you an adrenaline rush? I've done some of my most relaxed diving solo. > Why did separation from your buddy cause you an adrenaline rush? Long story, but quickly........on my own, making my way back to the boat (which was'nt there when i got there) running out of air, being circled by 4 "Oceanics" all the way back to the (non existant) boat, could'nt come up above 12 metres as the current would have taken me....and a computer that was telling me i had 29 mins of deco to do.........there was no boat at the mooring bouy, and me just "lolling" about on the surface with 4 "Oceanics" somewhere below...........when things go wrong they dont follow a structured procedure......they kinda make up the "gone wrong" rules as they go.......
