Default Dumaguete in The Philippines

We're planning to go to Dumaguete (The Philippines) to do some diving,
and we'll be staying in the Atlantis Dive Resort.
www.atlantishotel.com/dumaguete.htm

I've been trying to search for dinning / excursions options
but none can be found.
Anyone been there? Any recommendations?

Dumaguete is a very slow place and there is not much to see, neither any
good beaches right there.

Try to go outside up in the mountains or visit a coconut farm and have
some fresh coconut.

There is a volcano not too far away, but security may be an issue!
