Mexican jails really suck. Be sure to write.

Jail scares me a lot less than sitting around whining about not having
the guts to do something. The way I see it, it's a lot easier to get
forgiveness than permission, and I generally sleep pretty good, even
if the cot is a little lumpy.

Oh Gawd, was that happening here too? I learned of this anamoly only
a few short hours ago from another source - my profuse apologies. I
didn't realise that was occuring, but did find where that option had
been imposed and turned it off.

Jer, that's always ones' perogative. And even if money isn't a
motivator for someone like Jer, a lot of people in this world are highly
motivated by money, and can thus be influenced. I'm not saying that
that's a good or bad thing - - just pointing out what is reality.

That's right, Doc. That's why I suggested _legal_ activities. But if
little old Jer here insists on doing it the hard (and in Mexico,
sometimes fatal) way, that his perogative.

If Jer's actually going to follow through (which I personally doubt), I
do suggest that he find out before he leaves home which is the best
Embassy for an english-speaking traveller to contact for help.

Guess Jer forgot that the Caymans don't have a president . And for
events there, www.CaymanNetNews.com is a good news/editorial source.

Yes, it is a reality, either a blessing or a curse - which is
something I get to decide, not them.

Yes, that's another reality, one which I'm willing to accept. Look at
it this way, that acceptance has turned out to be a blessing on more
than one occasion, since most people assume I'm not willing to risk
everything for something I strongly believe in. Yes, a blessing for
me, a curse for them.

This comment carries the assumption the we aren't prepared (yes, we).
Assuming we aren't prepared is another cross some have to bear.
