| Puerto del Carmen has most of the dive sites of the Island. Playa de la Barrilla ( Playa Chica for the locals) is where most centers dive from and yes there is a center right thre on the beach buut this is also the busiest center of the island. ( Have worked there for many years) If you want to dive in a center on the beach but not that busy in Puerto go then to Centro de Buceo Atlantica they have a private Jetty with 2 or 3 small ribs. They take max 6 divers in a group small center but very professional. Nitrox is allowed under spanish law ( Not sure of depth limits) Oxygen must be available on divesite. Enjoy Puerto some great dives along the wall JANUK "Bardo" <me@privacy.net> wrote in message news:bvt5pf$10i1rt$1@ID-115313.news.uni-berlin.de... > > "TerryH" <terry@maxgsd.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message > news:bvr97s$q3e$1@newsg1.svr.pol.co.uk... > > > > Derek Dear <derek.dear@ntlworld.com> wrote in message > > news:hbv120lqouau8aqnepn5mfl0rkbhb6h8ag@4ax.com... > > > On Wed, 4 Feb 2004 09:44:40 -0000, "Chrystianne" > > <diver@nospamchrystianne.com> > > > wrote: > > Cheers to all that replied! | I've just come back from PDC and I normally dive with Safari Diving on the waterfront but as some have already said, they seem too keem on try dives and courses to cater for 'normal' divers. We found a centre 100 metres from the beach who were very flexible and much cheaper at 19e per dive as opposer to 26e for most other centres. Manta Diving http://www.manta-diving-lanzarote.com Definately take your kit either way. | Hi Jason, I'm spanish, from Canary Islands even. The´'s no law at the moment in Spain, against carrying O2 at the zodiac. It's obligatory to carry it!!!
