Default Dive site:Tabarca island, or somewhere from Santa Pola

Myself and a group of freinds are off to stay in Guardamar Del Segura
(Alicante, Spain) from the 11th of September 2004 for a week, after a bit of
investigation we have discovered that this is a short ferry trip away form
the Marine Reserve at Tabarca Island.

I was wondering if anyone one the group has dived this reserve, and can
offer opinions of its merits as a dive site(s), and how and where to go to
arrange a diving trip there.

We are a group of 6, but with only 2 divers (PADI AOW) we would want to
arrange something like a day trip with a couple od dives whilst the
non-divers snorkell themselves stupid.

Any indication on price (equipment hire, ferry costs, dive guides etc.)
would also be apreciated.
we will have at least one working mobile when in Spain so arragments by
telephone will be possible.
Also the groups Spanish is VERY basic, so English speaking dive schools
would be a great help.

Thanks.
